What is Grad Night anyway?
Who: The SLOHS graduating class
What: A safe night of celebration (statistically one of the most dangerous in a student’s life)
When: Friday, June 6, 2025 9:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 7, 2:00 a.m. (Buses arrive back at school around 2:30 a.m.)
Where: Check-in will be outside the Big Gym, but the event venue is a secret
Parents of our SLO High students have been busy planning a safe and sober graduation party for the graduating class. Grad Night is an engaging, inclusive and celebratory event. There will be something for everyone and many thrilling activities to try. It is the grand finale for the graduating class all together. To see photos go to slohsgradnight.org/photos/
Students should arrive at the Big Gym at SLOHS at 9:00 p.m. to check in and board the buses. NO BACKPACKS will be permitted, and we encourage leaving personal items at home. Any student(s) found with drugs or alcohol, or determined to be under the influence, will have their parents called to take them home.
How do I register?
Online registration for Grad Night 2025 will open in mid-April.
Parents & Guardians, we need your help!
Every year, we need parents of freshmen, sophomores and juniors to “pay it forward” and:
- help plan this year’s Grad Night and
- volunteer in the lead-up to and night of the event.
That might seem odd to run an event your student will not attend, but this is so when you have a senior, you can relax and enjoy graduation with your family and friends knowing Grad Night is taken care of.
Sign up to help by emailing slohsgradnight@gmail.com.
In addition to volunteers, we need monetary donations for food, drink, transportation and entertainment. A donation of $105 can fully sponsor the registration of one student, but any donation amount helps!
Our Mission
The mission of the Grad Night Committee is to offer SLO High School graduates a safe and sober event. Statistics have shown that students celebrating after graduation can experience one of the most dangerous nights of their lives. Our goal is to save lives by providing a safe and sober graduation night.
