The campaign to fund this year’s Grad Night is well underway and SLOHS families have been asked to help. Using ParentSquare, the committee has requested that parents and guardians of students at all grade levels reach out to local businesses, community members, or anyone else they can think of and direct them to our Fundraising page.
Registration for Grad Night works on a sliding scale with every member of the graduating class able to attend (including early graduates) for a fee as little as $10. Even the minimum cost can be waived as appropriate. The Class of 2025 is over 390 students and the goal every year is 100% attendance. Even at our post-COVID average participation of 70%, that is still transportation, food and entertainment for about 275 graduates. That takes planning and funding, the latter relying on the contributions of families, businesses, and the community, with every bit greatly appreciated.
